This Research Topic Rubric was originally created for a UGS 302 course, but it can easily be used and adapted for other types of classes. This rubric was designed to accompany a research topic exploration worksheet and activity that students completed in class. The rubric highlights a number of skills that students can demonstrate when developing a research topic, developing research questions and scaling a topic.
