This Research Log Rubric was originally created for a UGS 303 course at the University of Texas, but it can easily be used and adapted for other types of classes. This Rubric was designed to accompany a Research Log worksheet that students completed as groups in class. The rubric highlights a number of skills that students can demonstrate when developing a research plan, including developing keywords and identifying useful types of sources.
