Information Literacy Toolkit

The Information Literacy Toolkit is a collection of resources that faculty and instructors can use to help plan or implement assignments in classes. These resources can help you scaffold research skills into your classes.

Assessment Resource Description

This Annotated Bibliography Rubric was originally created for a UGS 302 course at the University of Texas but can easily be used and adapted for other types of classes. This Rubric highlights a number of skills that students can develop and demonstrate when creating an annotated bibliography including selecting appropriate sources, evaluating and synthesizing sources, and writing informative and detailed annotations.
