Information Literacy Toolkit

The Information Literacy Toolkit is a collection of resources that faculty and instructors can use to help plan or implement assignments in classes. These resources can help you scaffold research skills into your classes.

Assignment Description

It is common for students to struggle with taking a topic and finding a research question within it.  These assignments, one developed for an upper division undergraduate class and the other for a freshmen-level class, guide students through the process with their own topic.  The assignment used with upper division students can be introduced and started during a library instruction session.  The freshmen level assignment can be introduced and completed during a library instruction session.
