Welcome to the Adjunct Orientation Guide. This guide contains important links and information for MGCCC adjunct instructors and will be updated as new resources become available.

 

 

 

Single Sign-On

IT is continuing to streamline our user logins for various college applications to move to a single sign-on experience. To make all of our lives easier, they will be changing the log-in requirements for Canvas, Web Services, and DegreeWorks dashboard. This new update will happen in conjunction with the student email migration to Office365 August 7-8th, and these three applications will be unavailable during that time.

Beginning on August 9th, 2021, all employees will use their full email address (ex. First.last@mgccc.edu) and email password to login to Canvas, Web Services, and DegreeWorks.  Separate communications will be sent to students advising them of login changes for these services as well. 

Beginning November 2021, two factor authentication will also be required for college accounts. For any questions, please contact support at Helpdesk@mgccc.edu or ext. 4357.

New Student Email

Students are being informed that their email address has changed from @bulldogs.mgccc.edu to @mgccc.edu, and they are being asked to login at https://mgccc.edu/portal using the instructions below to setup their account.

Setting Your Passwords
The initial password will be: "Mgccc" + your first and last initials (capitalized) + MMDD of your birth date
i.e. Jill Smith born on Jan. 1st would have a password of MgcccJS0101
If your birthday was not collected with your application, a default birthday of 1225 will be used.
Upon first login, you will be asked to change your password and register for password self-service recovery.
Never share your password with anyone, including the Help Desk.
